My daughter told | ADHD Information

If she is ADHD, she can't control her behavior because of impulsivity.  They just do it, then regret it afterwards.  I could tell with my son that it was accidental by the look of shock or helplessness after he would mess up.  He'd cover his mouth if something popped out, that he knew afterward that he shouldn't have said.  My son would also say to me "I tell my brain to be good mommy".  This is pretty standard ADD behavior.  It depends on the severity of the problem whether parents decide to medicate or not.

sorry, how old is she?

Is this a specific behavior or just in general? 9 YEARS OLD SHE SAID MOMMY I HAVE TRIED.me last night she can't controll her behavior. My child is impulsive and since meds she is completely different.  I was one who never wanted to try meds but  the psychologist convinced me to give it a shot as well as wonderful people from this board and I am glad I listened. We give my son ritalin LA.  The pdoc says it helps impulsivity.  You may also want to look at the alternatives board.  Omega 3s are also helpful in kids with behavior issues.
