I am asking this question because I found it interesting that in my class of 4th graders, those that I know are being treated for ADD or ADHD have a hard time doing the limbo.
The limbo is a game in which you must lean backward to make it under a stick which is then lowered until only one remains who can do it. (I play a ruler game in which the students jump to see who can touch a ruler that is being raised each round. I wanted something for the short kids to do well in too, but I was disappointed that my shortest student - who also has ADD - couldn't do the limbo well either.)
I am doing exercises from the book Stopping ADHD which says that a reflex LOCATED IN THE UPPER BACK AND NECK AREA can be a major cause of the symptoms of ADHD and ADD. So, this seems to confirm the theory.
Myself, I have inattentive ADD, I have a hard time doing the limbo.
Thanks for your responses!
