Is Concerta and MAO? | ADHD Information

 

The reason I ask is because my son is sick with a bad cold and I have Dimetapp and it says not to give kids if they are on an MAO so I thought I would ask the professionals here 

No -- Concerta is a stimulant.  But you should always consult your physician or pharmacist before giving over-the-counter meds to check for drug interactions.  Some cold rememedies can make kids hyper.
