A couple months ago, I bought some old tea cups at the thrift store, and a dremel tool and masonry drill bit so that I could drill holes in them and make little planters. I came home from work today and decided to do the project.
I distinctly remember putting all of these things in a plastic bin so that I could find everything when I needed it. So, I rummaged around and found the dremel tool in a storage bin. Then I couldn't find the tea cups, and I searched high and low. Somehow they ended up on the top shelf of my closet. Then I couldn't find the masonry bit. So I rummaged through the same storage bin again. I checked the rest of the garage, anyplace I could think of. No drill bit. Then I *carefully* rummaged through the storage bin yet again. Lo and behold, in a plastic bag that was mostly sewing supplies inside another plastic bag - there was the stinking drill bit.
Got started on everything, but ran out of tea cups with 3 plants to go. Rummage around and find three sacraficial tea cups in the cabinet... I finally finished and it is now midnight. Sigh.
But the plants look great!
I hear you, but what a great idea for planters. But you started AND finished!! That's what's so exciting about it! That's hard to do!
Congrats! Sounds super cute too.
Hey I'm with Sparky Lu! If it was me I would have maybe finished 2, then left the supplies on the counter or table whatever for months and probably let the rest of the plants die! Congratulations!
