Its great to hear your daughter is responding so well to adderal I dont have any experience with adderal but what I suggest you do is call your pharamcist  to discuss whether this is a temporary side effect or something you should be concerned about. If so, contact your chidls docotor. Good luck and I wish your daughter contuned success

Hi all!  My daughter has been on Adderall 5mg 2x a day for almost 2 weeks now.  Its working so much better than the Ritalin. Her concentration level is so much better - she wanted my husband to play softball with her yesterday, and she played for almost an hour and a half with such concentration and determinination!!!!!!!!!!   Her teacher is saying she is less wiggly and seems to be able to concentrate better at school - she's still not where she needs to be, but a huge improvement and her teacher is wonderful, she realizes that Jen needs time to adjust and find the right dosage/medication/  The only concerns I have are that she is having some headaches - not everyday, more like 3 times/week.  She also seems to get somewhat tired on the meds.  Hoping these will go away soon, everything else seems to be heading in the right direction.  Has anyone else experienced these side effects on Adderall?

 

My daughter experienced headaches and lethargy with adderall XR when she first started taking it.  However, I think that these subsided after about the first week.
