My son (12) & daughter (17) both love the Spiderman gummies made by sundown. The taste like those sourpatch kids. Probably not the best kind of vitaminn for them - but at least they want to take them daily.
The 2nd part of 5th grade I backed off on Ritalin to only the morning dose. 6th grade were down to zero! He takes the vitamins each morning, eats a good breakfast (normally lunch foods - like sandwiches or tortilla wraps).
His grades are pretty stable high 80's & low 90's. He reads at the 9th grade level- which is an acomplishment since he has dsylexia.
I haven't found a swallowable vitamin, but let me know if you find one. The kids do not even like the gummy vitamins.
He is 6. I tried the gummy's and the malt balls but still he wouldn't. I was at the store today and found a childrens chewable that is round, not character shape. I am thinking he could probably swallow this.
Thanks for the suggestion.
How old is he? Also, have you tried the gummy vitamins? Those are like gummy bears, maybe he would like those? My 6 year old is taking the Liquid Health brand of vitamin. It is not the best tasting, but he only needs a 1/2 ounce a day so he just chugs it in one gulp. His PED felt it was better than the tablet kind. Try it and mix it with juice for better taste.
Hi there! I just wanted to jump in to see if you had tried a liquid vitamin/mineral supplement. My son and I have been taking one called Vemma(vitamins, essential minerals, mangosteen, and aloe) it is a superior supplement, for 9 months now and have such good results we have added my husband and 2 other children to the regimine. We began for our ADD symptoms and it was kinda costly for us (/mo.) so as we saw the great results with this and many other health conditions we have passed on the word and began to include the rest of our family. The vitamins and minerals as well as the potent antioxident found in the mangosteen have probably been the most beneficial for our add but the mangosteen also has many other amazing health properties that have helped lots of health conditions. It has a 30 day money back guarantee. The product has meant so much to us that we have becomes reps for it. If you'd like more info. please email me or check out our site (am I allowed to put this?) How about just email me so I don't misuse this site. I am at simplyfunjhose@yahoo.com You only drink a 2 oz. shot glass usually once a day and it tastes kinda like tang, pretty good actually....but if you happen to not like it, get your $$ back.
Thanks!
i saw a vitamin that can be swallowed at the Vitamin Shoppe...(I forget the name now) but they do have one in the childrens section joemom38838.3808680556
Has anyone ever heard of a vitamin for a child that can be swallowed. My son needs to take vitamins because he is not getting it from foods. He is very picky and eats very little. The chewable ones he hates the taste. I figured since he is such a pro a swallowing meds, maybe that would work best. The chewables are to ridged.
*Our children must be related for she is picky too and hates chew tabs of any kind. My daughter also hates liquid meds will fight us tooth and nail and refuse even with a high fever. She is now an expert on swallowing meds and there is no going back and yes we too struggle with the vitamin.
