Hartley, there are two of us just getting started on the  Dore program.  Hayletomlinson and me. Mine starts next Wednesday.  I did a ton of research and asked lots of questions, talked to a gob of people, and I think this is the answer for us. I am very excited, and my 13-yo ADHD son is excited about it too!  I think we will be very happy with the results.

In fact, Mr. Dore himself is coming to our town next week for a meet and greet for the newest members.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, I'm happy to share what I've learned.

In a nutshell, what is the DORE program??

Nutshell??

The program uses "brain" exercises to develop the cerebellum, which they say is underdeveloped in dyslexia, autism, ADHD and other learning problems.  Treatent is exercises like balancing, eye tracking, beanbag tossing, etc., (simple yet hard) handpicked after a thorough evaluation followed by followups every 6 weeks for about 15-18 months.  Do them every day 2x a day.  Very high sucess rate.  Their philosphy is not new, but Dore pulled everything in together with this program to make it easy, and monitored along the way.  They actually have computer graphs at each eval where you can see the measured progress.

dorecenters.com is their webpage.

Jesse's Mum,

Wondering if anyone has heard of the DORE Program? it is a drug free program being offered in Australia.
