My son was on Ritalin for 5 years or so he developed high blood pressure. his doctor stopped it for one week than started the strattera he was on it for 3 weeks, he was depressed, nasty, had headaches and couldn't focus. A week ago today they stopped that medication. It just didn't work for him or they have screwed up his system by pulling him off and putting him on. He is going to see a psychiatrist tonight to see if she can come up with the right combo. if there is a right combo!
It's funny that you said Strattera gave your son depression. My child has depression and the doctor said it should help with that as well as the ADHD. I know if you give someone that is Bipolar something for depression it will worsen the bipolar symptoms. What is your son taking now and is it working for him?My 11 year old son was taken off strattera because it caused severe depressionHas anyone taking Strattera developed anxiety attacks after taking this medicine?
