The Power of Green

Thats it cheek -  I am off to the hardware to buy some leaf green paint and splash it all over his bed room walls.   As I have said before - Anything is worth a try, and anything is possible

A strange but interesting study was conducted on children with ADHD. It found that ADD kids who play in green, leafy areas exhibited less symptoms than when they played indoors or non-green areas such as parking lots. Of course, this isn't a medical breakthrough but an interesting finding.

I find that when I jog outside as opposed to exercising indoors that I'm more relaxed and less hyper. Sometimes just looking at green leaves blowing on a sunny day can really calm me down.

here is the website www.webmd.com, go to ADHD link under conditions and you will find the article.

Spending time outdoors (particularly in the woods) is very mentally relaxing for me. Things really seem to settle down and become very clear. It is like someone turns off the 15 different radios running in my head all the time.

I have heard that jobs in the outdoors are often very good for people with ADD.

I could see how green would be a more soothing color. I have followed studies similar to this one in regards to well... Different areas in regards to marketing strategies.

Casinos tend to use the color tope to sooth and relax. I am curious if any other colors were examined within their study as well. I will follow up with the link you provided. Thanks for the post.
