I am new to this forum, but have been a raging adhd-er for the last thirty years of my life.
The company I work for was just bought out, and the new owners of the company drug test their employees. I imagine my adderal and wellbutrin will light the drug test up. I had my normal day off today, and when I just checked my cell phone, there were four messages from four different numbers and people asking me to return their call. I called back one of the numbers and the message went something like this "if you need to speak to a medical review officer to discuss the results of a test, please call back between the hours of such and such"........
So, I will come unglued if my emplyer finds out I am taking prescription drugs to treat adhd ! when i "took the test" i asked the two women if they wanted a list of what prescription drugs i was taking. they said no, not to worry because they are only testing for Illegal drugs.......
Anyone else have any experience with this ?
I am not worried about testing positive for anything because i am under a doctor's care, but I do not want people finding out personal info. about me, esp. any medical conditions.

OK, so now I am starting to think a little too much about this I think. Has anyone else gone through this before ? If you have prescriptions, you should be safe shouldn't you ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

anyway i was looking at home dope test kits when in pharmacy while witing they
check for dex & rit though that odd.
y do i test guys... insurance reasons
heavy equipment operators & dump drivers only
had some test postitive for speed & had to let them go
while i was wacked out of mind on cencerts (fancy ritalin)
I just started with a company and had a drug test ( this company does their own testing) I told the nurse that I was taking Ritalin La and Wellbutrin. She said "I don't think you'll pass" I did no problem! She didn't write it down any where.She told me they didn't care what i took as long as I passed their drug test.
They told me If I didn't pass I would have to bring a note from the doctor to prove that they were prescribed to me

If anyone else has experience with this, please weigh in with your opinion. Thanks.OK, so i returned the call today and the first thing out of the medical record officer's mouth was a question as to whether i was taking concerta or adderall. so, everything is cool. i had to call back with my scrip #,telephone # of the pharmacy, etc.......thanks everyone for your responses.

Yup, stimulant meds show up on some drug tests. I brought the bottle in with me and showed it to them before I peed in the cup. They made a note on the results about my rx. No biggie.
