TV is off, but I can still hear it | ADHD Information

Thanks, Cheeky & Rae. I'm sure stress has alot to do with this and I think right now is the most stressed out I've ever been. Most ppl around here ( me included) are trying to do fun things b/c I think It's in the back of our minds that maybe we won't be lucky this time. My faith is what keeps me going. I try to believe God never gives us anything we can't handle. But sometimes thats kind of hard to do. But I still believe that. I still hear that damn tv!AAAHHHH! Go way!

Rae, I got rid of my clock  radio b/c of that reason. Even a good song would drive me crazy when it stayed with me all day. I now have one that just beeps!

I hear the mobile alarm clock.  I have it set for 6:30am everymorning with some really irritating music.  By 8:30am I am still humming the tune.

For the past few days, my husband has been constantly watching the next herrican, Ivan, that could possible hit Fl ( our 3rd herrican in less than 2 mos.) on a channel that gives updates every 10 min. or so. The first one scared the hell out of me. And the second one, they had basically the same kind of format and you know that dramatic  kind of backround music, or sounds they play when some bad is lurking near? I know we need to be prepared and well informed, but I hear those sounds and phrazes in my head when everything is quite!

Now I don't mean just bits and pieces, I swear I'm hearing the actual report.....spooky!! It happend again less than an hr. ago. And last night, I actually had a dream or I gues nightmare, that my husband was in the living room in the middle of the night with the weather report on AND I COULD HEAR EVERY WORD! Over and over. It turns out he slept all night and wasn't anywhere near the tv.

I know it's common for us ADD/ADHDers to hear "music in our heads" and are noise sensitive, but I would like to know if any one else has ever expierenced anything like this? It's happening more often now, but only at home. I need some feedback on this one, Pweeze

I have this problem when I'm stressed. I'll hear a conversation or the tv in my head. Don't cry, it's probably nothing to be alarmed about. I think it could be related to "hyperfocus" and I know it only happens to me when I'm stressed.
