i know im terrible for forgetting, my son has ADHD, just picked him up from school at 10 a.m., due ot his being suspended (hes only 11) for hitting other kids, his new doc said he has ODD? OCD? something that has to do with him being malicious and causing fights, an nger etc., i didnt go anywhere with that diagnosis becasue the doc said it is a fairly new thing and there is no med for it, but councelling and he said he didnt feel Jake needed that, but just disapline, so, anyway i am trying to remember whatits called, made an appt with the doc, waiting for the doc to call back to tell me what the heck it is i am trying to figure out the name on, meanwhile talkign w/the principle., or getting ready to and befor i do i want to knwo the nameof this problem, do any of you know what im talking about??????

Is your doctor talking about Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)? My 17 year old son has this. He has some serious anger management problems, fights, has problems with authority, argues constantly, etc. He has been on Respirdal for about 2 years, now, and this has at least taken the edge off some of the anger. Therapy has not been helpful for him, but I'm thinking that he probably was not diagnosed at an early enough age.
