Early intervention is everything. I loved the two schools explained in the article.
Thanks for posting this...I read every word. It's the best and most insightful article about autism I've ever read. Made me understand why my son used to bang his head against the wall. Thanks my son use to look similar to the child on the magazine front. Since the listening program he is haveing better eye contact with people. His tracking is no longer a problem either. I believe early interventions is the key to helping people like this. With his verious therapies he has had is a way different kid. School is not his going to every be easy for him. I never thought he could even play a sport but now he is doing it.This is the cover story for this week's TIME for those insterested in Autistic Spectrum Disorder and how the kids think. This covers Aspergers to low functioning and how the brain is wired.
