"Dear Subscriber,

I am writing to let you know about programs offered by 2 long-time supporters of Attention Research Upate - Play Attention and Landmark College - that may be of interest to you.

Play Attention is offering web-based introductory seminars for parents wishing to learn more about the attention training system. The seminars are offered at no charge - all you need to participate is a high speed internet connection.

Landmark College is offering 2 specialized programs this summer for high school students and recent high school graduates who struggle because of ADHD and/or learning disabilities.

Details about these programs can be found below.

** Landmark College - Summer Programs for High School Students & Recent Graduates **

Landmark College has provided specialized higher education services for young men and women with ADHD for over 20 years and is generally regarded as the leading institution of higher learning for students with ADHD and learning disabilities.

This summer, Landmark is offering several specialized programs to assist high school students, rising college students, and current college students.

The High School Program is "...designed to help high school students discover and practice academic skills and strategies that will improve their ability to learn. Working in small groups - with plenty of individual attention - students learn how to learn, efficiently and effectively."

The objectives of this program are to help participants...:

* Develop a writing process that uses proven techniques to write more clearly, faster and with fewer struggles.

* Discover his or her academic strengths and personal learning style and learn to leverage them in all coursework.

* Integrate strategies and practice in either communications or math, depending on specific needs.

The program runs from 7/9-7/28 and financial aid is available. You can learn more by visiting http://www.landmark.edu/admissions/high_school_summer.html

** Transition Program for Recent High School Graduates **

Landmark is also offering a 2-week transition program that introduces students who learn differently to specific skills and strategies that will help them succeed in the transition from high school. Programs are available both for students who will be attending college in the fall as well as those who are unsure of their future plans.

Financial aid is available and you can learn more at http://www.landmark.edu/admissions/summer_transistion.html

** IMPORTANT ** Let me be clear that I do not endorse Play Attention or any other specific treatment for ADHD. However, because this is an intervention approach that many parents are interested in, I did want to make you aware of this opportunity to learn more about it.

I hope that information about these programs is of interest to you.

Sincerely,
