"Making the Connection: A Parent's Guide to medication in ADHD" is a new book to help parents of kids and teens who have ADHD. It is found on www.adhdparents.com

Making decisions about treatment can be very difficult, yet the reality is that every parent will have to make a decision abou the use of medications. This book is designed to guide that process in a systematic fashion. It is objective (not drug company sponsored, yet balanced). The book is ideal for any parent of any adhd kid or teenager; whether the child is on medications or not.

The information is mostly based on published research and experience of treating hundreds of patients. I hope that it is helpful to some of you.

I'm not sure its right to post an advertisement for your own work here, but I do think an unbiased book that will help people understand meds when they are trying to make decisions is a good idea.
