Dore Program | ADHD Information
Could someone please explain what the Dore program is? Thank you.There is a thread going on the Alternatives section, there are several of us starting at the same time.

The centers offer exercises that stimulate an underdeveloped cerebellum, which they say is the cause of ADHD. They do a very thorough evaluation to make sure the client's condition is one they can help. Then, they are sent home with a set of eye, balance and sensory activities, two each in the morning and the evening that take about 10 minutes each session. They are actually fun to do, but very detailed. They say that "93% of our clients enjoy successful outcomes,no longer having or substantially reducing the debilitating symptoms of learning difficulties-permanently." They also state the many clients no longer have to take or have reduced their meds. They treat "difficulty with reading and comprehension, poor handwriting, difficulty getting thoughts to paper, poor concentration, impaired short-term memory, poor coordination and clumsiness, hyperactivity, poor self-esteem.
I have a friend who's friends' son was severely ADD with ODD, and no longer has symptoms (per psych evaluation before and after the program) after completing the program. I was sold!
