with factual things I do, ie news paper, biographys, history etc, but fiction and sci-fi keep me enthralled
I love to read anything I am interested in, although I do have problems keeping my train of thought sometimes and need to reread. The other problem is reading makes me sleepy so I have to only read for about 20 minutes at a time even if it is interesting. I hate magazines and newspapers because they make you jump all over to get the whole story and newspapers are just way to cumbersome.
Does anyone else do this:
I don't read books because they are too long and I tend to get "lost" and have to reread alot. Newspaper articles are too long and I wish they would just get to the point. I just ant the highlights. "BAM". I need an ADD-oriented newspaper. Heres the thing, when I have a long article or book I have to read, I jump to the end (last paragraph) and read that. Now I'm confused and have to back up and read the preceding paragraph. Now I'm confused and have to back up and read the preceding paragraph. See a pattern forming. I should have just started at the top. I read lists of things from the bottom up. I tend to stay in order that way. i.e. 27-1 instead of 1,5,3,8,16,7,20,18,3,16,8.
