What about spammers Ogram? This is not mentioned in the guidlines, and we have had quite a few lately. Anything we can do about it?

OK, while the rules do not state spammers, it does state vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws. It might not spell out spammers, but it does spell out trolls. But, the administration has not prevented any of the offensive behavior. And that's what I would rather concentrate on. I would much have some one try to sell some thing that use scare tactics that are inaccurate, harassing, hateful, sexually oriented or defamatory to ANY one, not just newbies. Most of the trolls attack the senior members, the reason is that we are not scared to tell them they are out of line. And about9 of 10 of the trolls get vulgar and post all of the above behavior with in 2 posts. That is what I am more concerned about getting stopped. Sorry if people don't agree, but I don't like to see some one tell us we are killing our kids and lying about some one loosing a child because of ritalin. That take priority to me as a person and as a MODERATOR.
OK, I gotcha, and I agree. Thanks for your hard work. I wish there were more I could do..........
OK, I gotcha, and I agree. Thanks for your hard work. I wish there were more I could do..........
ONLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE A REBELLIOUS MIND/HEART.
For those who do rebel against the rules and guidelines of this message board, they create a toxic environment and spread like poison in an attempt to sabotage the most sincere efforts of regular posters to help others and they also scare away newbies who are so desperately seeking help for their children. Ogram has made countless attempts with regard to contacting the administrator about removing trolls that come in to infect and terrify and/or upset posters but it seems it falls on deaf ears. Parents come in here on a daily basis asking for opinions and advice with regard to how they can get their children to follow rules, have respect and what consequences should be imposed when children don't adhere to rules. The trolls that do come into this forum break the rules, show no respect for other members and see no consequences by the administrator so what message does that send? I am copying and pasting this post and sending it off to the administrator. There is power in numbers and maybe together, we can make a difference. Sometimes we have lots of fun on this message board and its a great way to alleviate the tension we face as parents on a daily basis but when a poster sends someone away in tears or suggests they are killing their children thats not fun, its intentionally hurtful and malicious. We can't stop trolls from coming in here but it's the administrators responsiblity to show them the way out.
