This is not ultimately just a homeschooling issue. It goes much deeper than that. Just because we have no intention of homeschooling does not mean it won't affect our children.

Threat seen from U.S. judges who bow to child-rights treaty
No matter what our religion, no matter what our beliefs, this would remove our rights to ensure that our children were raised with our belief systems. Even the children of athiests could conceivably be forced to receive religious training of whatever persuasion a judge or comittee deems fit.
Being a UN treaty, this affects not only children in the US but in any country that belongs to the UN.
