Need answers please | ADHD Information

I think that Adderall is addictive and it should be stopped under the supervision of a doctor, not just stopped. I would call your doctor IMMEDIATELY!!! I would agree with checking with your doctor..they might have an answer for you quickly. Hello I am new to this board and I need help..My son who is 10 has been taking adderall for 3 years.. Well this week he wanted to get off his meds.. So I took him off completely.  Well his week has been bad because he is throwing up. Is this a withdraw type thing?Ok the doc has been called we are going to lower the dos little by little! Gosh this has been a bad week~

As a parent of coarse you have the right not to medicate but if treatment has started it is advisable to ask the correct coarse to follow.

My husband can't go cold turkey from his Mountain Dew. I can't imagine a child going cold turkey from a class 1 drug.  consult his Dr. today about how to continue.
