What can I do? He has been dx with depression and on celexa. He is also on trazadone for sleep. It doesn't seen to be working--the celexa. "I" have dx him with severe ADD. He has every single symptom you read about on the web on adult ADD. He is driving me nuts!! We have been married for about 13y and I'm finally figuring out what's wrong with this guy!
I want him dx!! He won't go to the Dr. Our general Dr referred him to a psych who knows about ADD. He never went. What more can I do? His ADD is a real strain on our marriage.

Holly, you say your husband never went for the DX your Dr recommended. What if you told DH, OK since you are unable/unwilling/unwanting to make this appt. I made it for you and it's next Thu at 3.30, is that a good time for you.
Would he flipout, freakout, or throw you out ?

John . . .38890.5107523148hey there i am sorry you are going through this and which my hubby wasnt diagnosed but i wish sometimes he would go to a doctor to see if he has this. I just posted a post about this on the spouse board i think it is if you want to read it. maybe we can chat sometime if you want? are you on the autism board as well? cause my daughter has autism and i post on there sometimes too. i just thought you were familiar. How long has you dh been on Celexa? It takes time so if he hasn't been on it very long you may not see results. If his depression is very serious, you may need to take him to the doc yourself. My dd had to take a friend of hers to the emergency room once because of severe depression. It's a scary place to be. Even if he is ADD, the depression has to be taken care of first.
