i found all these things on the web:
Including this-have two boys both have adhd. One is 8 and the other is 6. This was diagnosed around the age of 4 yrs old for both. Both receive additional help in school with an IEP. I feel like my life is a severly of out control. Both children are taking Concerta. They both also are taking Melotonin 3mg.

Pediatric
Less than 0.3 mg/dayAlthough studies including small numbers of children suggest that doses of 1-10 mg melatonin have little to no side effects, there is not enough information at this point to clearly say that doses greater than 0.3 mg per day are safe in children under age 15. In fact, doses between 1 to 5 mg may cause seizures in this age group. Until more information is available, it is safest to keep the dose close to the amount that our bodies normally produce (< 0.3 mg per day).
hope this helps
My son has ALWAYS had sleep issues - Concerta is definitely not helping. I've been using Benadryl at night, but some people have recommended Melatonin. The only problem is that there are SOOO many websites. How do I find out the correct dosage? My son is 11 and about 70 pounds. Also, where do I find Melatonin?
Thanks
You can find Melatonin at any Walgreens or CVS in the vitamin/nutrition aisle. Thanks guys. I am so glad I found this forum!!!!
