Actual time it takes to reply to a post | ADHD Information
Start - 9:04amI don't know if this is the right place to post this but i was noticing this morning that it usually takes me a very long time to write a reply or post a topic. I have to think about what i'm going to write, write it, read it to see if what i wrote was actually what i was thinking, delete half of it, then end up writing the same thing over again. Then before i hit post.....read it again. I thought it might be fun for everyone to write down the start and finish times when posting. Am i the only one this happens to?

Are you medicated or not? Medicated posting is pretty painless. Unmedicated posting involves writing a three page ramble and deleting it down to 3 paragraphs.

haha, my problem is not being able to focus on the post long enough to finish it. It can take me like 30 minutes to write a post because I keep switching over to something else, forgetting I had a post, and then finding it and continuing on it. Sometimes I don't find it again until an hour or more later, and by then I've forgotten what I was saying, and I just don't care anymore. Ahhh ADHD
Funky ~ I probaly depends what the post is about, is it serious or funny, are you answering or asking a question, are you just goofin' or what. Catch my drift ~

It takes me quite a bit of time to post. I do almost word for word what you wrote. I sometimes look at a post and want to respond but don't want to spend the ridicules amount of time it would take me. My biggest problem is losing my thoughts, I'll start writing and forget where I was going with it or I'll know what word I want but I just can't get the proper spelling down.
