The trolls are on the loose around here recently. Hopefully they will get bored soon, as the others have. My advice, if you don't know them, delete it.
If they didn't post in the open forum, there is a reason -- probably because the person is on the verge of getting kicked off the site for disrupting discussions or posting abusive comments.

Good call.
I think it was one of those activists against ritalin and related medicines - you know those type of ppl that kinda forget that theyre not a doctor and go around making claims that its bad for kids simply because it is an amphetamine....

I got a private email from someone I don't know warning me about ritalin and cancer. Anybody looked into that?
Not me. I'm waiting for the new studies... And I'm curious..
I wouldn't even care about your health unless I would get paid for it.
Steven D38882.6793865741It was from a Troll for they Pm'd me too. Those BastagesIt wasn't me for sure (I'm not a troll, I am 22 years old and spending time with studying and not trolling or so), but I do think I understand why these messages are send. I heard there is a mother of a very sick daughter around here (ant-ritalin) and you havent' shown very much respect for her yet, but her daughter has used ritalin for very long (almost a decade) and now she has this very rare "aplastic anemia", that is usually induced by long term benzene exposure.
I'm not saying that ritalin is the cause of the aplastic anemia, because ofcourse there could be genetic contributors (so that her daughter may also be genetically predisposed) or so, but I do see a link here. Because the texan study in 12 children showed that 3 month ritalin usage is just as hazardous is cleaning up chernobyl. The problem with cancer (and aplastic anemia) is that the negative impact is often experienced decades later after exposure.
It is not certain how serious this cancer thread is, as it is currently being investigated by the FDA and the NHIDS. I trust on them and hope they will pretty soon find out how serious this situation is.
I received the same pm from the troll. He is an idiot!
