I've posted before about problems with Wellbutrin/Straterra combo. I went through an EXTREMELY PAINFUL withdrawal because I was having high blood pressure, racing heart, and stuttering under stress. I spent a month of everything agony and suffered all the associated depresssion, worthlesness, wanting to escape into sleep and withdrawing from social contact (not counting opening my bills and NOT paying them).
All testing showed no physical absnormality to cause the erractic BP+P so I slowly went back on Wellbutrin XL to a final dose of 300mg. Provigal was added slowly at 50mg increased to the recommended 300mg a day.
It's been almost a month on this combo and I'm starting to feel more normal and start and finish a task. Normal (non ADHD) take Provigil for narcoplepsy or it is presbribed for someone on shift work. While I have been able to perform thought secquential tasks and become alot more prodocutive, I feel very quiet and withdrawn -- which as you all know is NOT HOW a person who has ADHD acts. Do "normal" people feel this boring sense of obligations!
I've got to tell you with ADHD I am a happy person -- disorganized, late, impulsive, talkative -- on Provigil I FEEL LOBOTOMIZED.
IS BEING "NORMAL" REALLY ANY FUN!!!
