I've been on Adderall for several weeks now, and before that I found that Ritalin was a small-unreliable aid in my depression. But Adderall seems to be working pretty good. I have energy, will to live, confidence, social skills, and absolutely NO appetite. Now that I think about it, I havn't eaten since wednesday. I should probably go eat.
adderall is the king of all add meds.. without it id be weak have no energy or focus and i couldnt control my impulses... adderall has saved my life... hey euphoria believe it or not i felt acual "euphoria on adderall for 2 years! im not kidding at 30 mg a day... then i kinda got used to it ya know but it still works great... i did a stupid thing and tried adderall xr which does not work as good as regular adderall but hey thats ok because i have a regular adderall prescription im going to fill tomorrow or the next day it will be 30 days so its time to go back to regular adderall.. thank god.. adderallxr is good and adderall is great. more like beyond great.... lol... oh and smoke menthol cigarettes while your on adderall.. it feels even better..... enjoy your adderall everyone....HA, funny you said menthol cigarettes, I picked up 2 packs last night for the first time!!It works miraclous. Although it is not intended for depression treatment, I feel much more happier and feel a sense of well being when I take it. If I don't take it I will be extremely tired, have absolutely no attention span, and have a feeling of dread that I'm alive. I probably am addicted, yes, but I felt depressed and horrible long before I was put on Adderall, and it's not doing any harm at all. My thoughts are much more clear, and I feel I have reason to exist, rather than sleeping almost all of the time and wishing I was dead. I am also on Effexor, but I think the Adderall does most of the work. However I need both to function without feeling homocidal/suicidal. I've gotten interested into how the medications work and their mode of action, so I could say I'm a little educated on the medications and effects of amphetamines. Does anyone else feel generally GOOD when they take their Adderall/Ritalin?
I have noticed how much better I feel on adderall. But I did not know to attribute that to an increased dose of prozac or adderall. I think it may be both.
