My son is primarily inattentive and we have had good results with the Strattera alone. It took us about 2 weeks to work up to the right dose. The first week was a little rough with side effects, but well worth it!
With the start of a new school year, we see a kid who can remember to bring home his lunchbox, keep a tidy desk, and complete classwork IN CLASS!
Give the strattera time, we are glad we did!
My son is on straterra also and he has inattentive type ADD. It is good for his emotional stability but not for keeping him on task during school. We use it in conjuction with Adderall and it seems to work. Adderall in the am, straterra at nightsorry jmom, I dont know as we dont use that med - but I thought I would reply to try and bring your post back to the top. You could also try researching previous threads on straterra through the search engine on this forum and also on the web.
