I honestly think that I know more about ADD mecidines than he does. I'm not trying to say I'm smarter than him, but it's just that I sent him a really deep, long letter with questions about Dexedrine and Desoxyn and asked if he could perhaps let me give them a shot and see how they work, and I garan-damn-tee you he's gonna read it bout 10 times and then go "Oh, I get it now". I just told him I have been reading about all the medicines that treat ADD/ADHD and have studied the hell out of each one, on top of actually understanding their mode of action and how they work. I read a few patient reviews on Desoxyn and EVERYONE says it works great, and the only side effect that everyone said they experienced was dry mouth, which I don't give 2 craps about. And I didn't put it like, "DOC THEY SAY THESE MEDS ARE GOOD GIMME THESE MEDS COME ON, COME ON", I simply asked him to consider it and proved that I understand the risks, possible side effects, as well as the initial benefit. I guess the main thing is to talk in a manner where your vocabulary is so technical that you sound smarter than the other person. I dunno. I just try and put things the way you would read them on one of them long instruction booklets to something.
