Update

Hi all!  I wrote on this message board probably 4-5 months ago and was at my wits end with my son's school.  If anyone remembers, he was the one who had the 1st grade teacher telling us daily that he was going to have to go to behavioral disorder class.  I had worried about it for months and finally took everyone's advice and contacted the Illinois State Board of Education.  I was instructed at that time to contact a lawyer if it was brought up again.  Well, of course it was brought up again so instead of calling a lawyer immediately I went to the school and met with the principal and vice principal.  I told them of my intentions and voiced my concerns.  They apologized, spoke with his teacher and I never heard another word about BD again.  Thought I'd let y'all know and thank you for your advice!!!
