I just wanted to share with everybody something that really helped me. As I was searching around online for ADHD parenting information, I came across the children & Adults with Attention Defecit/Hyperactivity Disorder Conference from 2005. There is a website that sells tapes and dvds of each workshop and presentation at the conference. I didn't spring for the dvds of the workshops, but I did lay down 0 for the mp3s of all the sessions. I found the Parent-to-Parent training sessions very informative. Again, I can only listen to them, but I bet the DVDs would be really good, albeit pricey( per session and there are over 100 sessions it looks like)
I don't want to sound like a commercial, but here is the website that sells these tapes/dvds:

What I found helpful were the descriptions about how ADHD was an Executive Function defecit, and what exactly that means. And what kind of expectations you should have for your child. Again, this is a mother lode of great information on all facets of ADHD.
Again, there is nothing in this for me. The information from the conference workshops just have a lot of practical, good advice for parents of ADHD kids.
