It amazing how much it really means to them and US! What a great teacher to recognize her efforts. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!She is so tickled pink and is wearing her pin with pride. We took her out for dinner to celebrate and to celebrate going to 2nd grade. The only major areas of concern are the typical ADHD things but she did pass. I am happy and proud of my girl. I am very happy for her. I know what its like for your child to try so hard and never make it. Its wonderful that she has a teacher who recognizes her struggles and is going to reward her for trying so hard. This stuff is so important ti kids! I'm getting all choked up for you and your daughter! What a great day for her.

that is great..... tell her we are all so proud of her...My daughter has been wanting to get picked for star student of the month since she started kindergarden for she has seen all her classmates get it from time to time. She even told the psychologist she wanted it and gets real sad over it. Today is her last day of school and the teacher tipped me off (they know she wants it) that today is her day. My kid is star student for showing improvement. She is going to come home on a high today and i am happy for her.Jillette,
