Adderall and Zoloft | ADHD Information

My son has started on Zoloft now and it has made a big difference in his mood.  I feel he always had anxiety issues, never wanting to go places, wanting to stay home and such.  Now 2 weeks later he is happier and brighter than I have seen him in a long time (he is 9).  The adderall helps him concentrate in school. So far I have nothing but good news to report. Has anyone else tried this combo?No atc, but I have heard a lot of negative things about zoloft.  They have linked it to suicide in adolescence.  I hope this is not true, but if the child is on it long term, it can increase depression issues.

We tried that combo and it worked well for us for two years.  We recently had meds re-evaluated by a neurologist and neuropsychologist after we found the Adderall XR was not working for us (our son was on a high dose for his age and weight).  Our son still takes Zoloft but now with Concerta.  Working (so far) like a dream.  Homework is now without tears and fighting!
