straterra side effects | ADHD Information

I wrote in a couple of weeks ago to say the my son (7) developed a tic and had not sleep through the night since starting Straterra. He had been off of it a month then. Now it has been over 6 weeks and he still has the same problems. The tic is a little better, but still there. The doctor says it should go away, but will not say how long it will take. Has anyone else had side effects last this long from Straterra or any other med? I am getting worried that it is permanent damage to his system.Autto - if in doubt get a second opinion.  Perhaps you should ask for a referral to a neurologist.  Tics can be caused by other medical problems also and should be investigated.
