ADHD SUCESS STORY

Hello Everyone,

I have a son, now 14 who was classified with ADHD back when he was 7. We had alot of problems with him in school as well as socially.  Our son was on Ridalin, Strattera, Aderall and so on, but they made my son into a zombie. We have found that children with ADHD, ADD have lack of minerals in their body and with extensive research we have come up with some natural vitamins that have worked. My son had a "C" average up to 6th grade on all the ridalin and other drugs until we put him on these vitamins (with NO ridalin or any other drugs) in 7th and 8th and he was on the honor roll. He was a true success story for the school. They are all liquid because my son cannot take pills. Fish oil (omega3), Body Balance (high anti-oxidants) and OsteproCare (calcium/magnesium) are the 3 liquid vitamins we give him along with a multi-vitamin. If you are interested in reading more on the Body Balance and the OsteoProCare the website is www.lifeforce.net/20458118. The Fish Oil website is http://www.vitacost.com/CarlsonTheVeryFinestFishOil-500ml. The OsteoProCare will help you child sleep at night because Magnesium makes you sleepy. Vitamins are not the only antidote though, it takes alot of work of the parent as well. The parent must understand that self esteem if the most important factor of a child with ADHD/ADD. If that goes you will have an extremely hard time bringing it back up. Sports, kickboxing and any other active activities are very important in their lives. Sports for the activity, kickboxing for the discipline. My son is a very active soccer player and also takes kickboxing. He does not have alot of friends but these are issues that need to be dealt with as well. If you have any other questions, please email me.

Hi! I meant to write the questions about vitamins to you. I thought your son was seven- I misread. Could you give me more information about your son. Did he have anxiety or depression at all? Would this routine with vitamins help with that also? Do you have a financial interest in Body Balance or Osteo pro care? I really want vitamins to work but you hear some say they do and some say they don't? My son is not hyper but has trouble with concentration and disorganisation-for the most part is calm but can get angry easily at times very quickly. He is a loving and sweet guy most of the time. Can he take all of this while on his medicine and then ween off? Does it taste badly? Once my son got on the Welbutrin it seemed to help his personality and his energy level went up. Why does your son not have many friends? Does he have energy? Thankyou for your input. I am so afraid to make the jump!
But he is so thin and it is not healthy for him? Please be honest about everything. Thankyou so very much. I need to make a decision. I am so glad your son is doing so well. The friends will come!

This wouldn't have too much of one vitamin taking all of this together, would it?

I heard too much of one vitamin isn't good for you. Have you heard this too?

This sounds so wonderful. I will pass this on to people I know that has

kids with ADHD.

Hello Lucy 06,

Like I said in my last posting my son was on Ritalin, Adderal, Concerta etc. He didn't eat, he still had social problems, still had hyper-active behavier and on top of that he would be a zombie. Unexceptable! My husband has been doing research on ADHD for the last 2 years on how we can help our son without the drugs. One of the most important things we found is nutrition and vitamins. Children with ADHD lack magnesium. I took him to a Reiki person and she was the one who recommeded Body Balance for my son. From that I looked further onto the website and saw Osteoprocare for magnesium and calciu. My son cannot take pills so this was wonderful. I put him on these 2 products along with fish oil (which is so imperritive) and found a remarkable change and difference in his behavior and school work. My husband also worked with him on alot of ways to handle schoolwork. The most important on being to listen as well as write down everything the teacher is talking about during class. This not only puts it in writing but it also makes them think about what is discussed in class again by writing it. My son does not like to eat before school so I make a power shake for him every morning before he goes to school. It consits of: banana, frozen strawberry, frozen blueberry, flax and sesame seed, plain yogurt, plain soy milk and honey. It is a power shake to start him off learning at school. As far as the rest of the day, we make sure he eats protein and takes his liquid vitamins. I hope this helps.
