messed up my meds | ADHD Information

Even with one of those little pill holders that shows Sunday - Saturday on it, I accidently took my meds twice yesterday morning.  I remember asking dh if I had taken them, he said that he didn't see me take any so I opened Wednesday and took them not thinking about what day it was.  Actually I felt better than I have in a long time and got a lot done, but only slept 3.5 hours.  I don't think it is hypermania, I think it is because I doubled the Wellbutrin and Adderall.  I went ahead and took meds this a.m. like usual, except skipped the Adderall.  Now I'm wondering if I should have skipped them all.  Anything I should do?  Like drink extra water or something?  Today is Wednesday, isn't it?Yeah, a double dose of Wellbutrin and Adderall will do that. :)

You should be fine by now. If it happens in the future, it's probably a good idea to skip the next Wellbutrin dose. Adderall is out of your system after about 8 hours. Wellbutrin lasts for 36 hours or so, and high doses are known to sometimes cause seizures. It's very rare, but it happens. However I don't think you have to worry at this point. Thanks for the reply. Yeah if anything big was gonna happen it would have alreadt happened. I'm just wiped out now. Guess I have learned to check what day of the week it is and make sure it matches the day on the pill box.
