lexapro | ADHD Information

I take Adderall and lexapro, I have nothing but good things to say about the combo.  Lexapro is an anti-depressant that also reduces anxiety symptoms.  And the Adderall doesn't give me any rebound anymore since I started the lexapro.Oh, and welcome to the board!Have any had good experinces with this med while on stimulantsi have only tried lexapro in combination with wellbutrin (300~500mg)
and they were prescribed for depression not adhd---but i don't know what to tell you because it didn't help, and in the first place i don't think i'm depressed.

but i think it was prexscribed to me for my anxiety (like reisa said)

I've been taking Adderall and recently added Lexapro 10mg. The Lexapro has done a wonderful job of evening out my mood, however, I'm realizing some side-effects such as a dramatic increase in forgetfulness and occasional compulsive eating.

Also, Lexapro seems to mute some of the benefits I receive from Adderall. For example, I'm noticing that I have been saying more things in conversation without "thinking."

Both my doctor and psychologist agree that this is related to the Lexapro so I'm waiting on their reco for another med to replace the Lexapro. I suspect that my experience is outside the norm since I generally read that Lexapro works very well for most.

Thank you for listing these side effects with lexapro.  I have also been having the forgetfulness, compulsive eating, and impulisveness.  I could not put my finger on what has changed, but I did add the lexapro about 3 weeks ago.
