ritalin and tics | ADHD Information

My son Tom has been taking ritalin for past 6mths and although i was wary at first (thats an. understatment) i must say there is a huge improvement in all areas most importantly he's happier.Tom recently had chicken pox and was sick for about 2 wks during this time i noticed he would shout out repeat your words ,make strage facial expressions and loud noise with his mouth is this tics ?  Please help

It definitely could be tics.  You need to check it out with a pediatric neurologist.Thank You I will
