adhd and sweets? please help. | ADHD Information

hello, this is a question for my neighbours child, he has several brothers and sisters who all love sweets and naturally he would like them too. Does any one know of any sweets with no sugar and artificial sweetners as he reacts badly to these. All we can think of is natural pop corn adding no extra flavouring. Please help, it would be much appreciated.

thank you

Very often "Health Food" shops have what you are looking for. if you live in a large urban area or are near one, i am sure you will find some of what would  be of use. Good Hunting.. Tell us how you get on.. please

Are you sure that it is sugar that he is having a problem with or could it be corn syrup?  I have heard that corn syrup will cause a behavioral reaction in some kids.  Corn syrup is in many processed sweets.
