Child targeted by school | ADHD Information

Has anyone had a child who was targeted by the school ?  We have an attorney and the school wants us to place my son in a special ed school, he has ADHD and is early onset bipolar.  We finally have him on meds that are helping a lot and they are acting like it is too late and not enough.  We have an IEP meeting the 3rd week in July and I feel they are going to tell us he can't come back to his home school.  I plan on appealing but my son has been having nightmares and I feel this is all taking its toll on him.  He has friends at his home school and we all worry he will lose them.  I also worry there will come a day when they will say he has to go back to his home school (if he goes to a behavioral school) and he will have no friends and again have a hard time fitting in.Hey!  I PMed you.  hi
i, too have been targeted by my son's school. they
want him back in a behavior class where he was for
8 months last year and was modeling his behaviors
from kids with loads of very scary anger and
emotional issues. I think he should be
mainstreamed at our homeschool but they will not
take him now that he already has been in the
beh.class. I am very frustrated and angry. from

Have included in a iep transportation if the child can't be helped at your local school. This is part of Daniel's new iep. Daniel's hates the boys/staff in his local school and doesn't want to return here. Told us so.
