wow.

Who's behavior the Moms or the child who lines up the cars...I guess that is the big question."Denial is a comfortable place", yes it is. I return the thank you IMac. I found this eloquent writing on another forum and was touched by this parent's discovery.

I was watching him playing with his cars tonight, and he lined them up. Over and over. Line them up, drive them, line them back up, drive them. Something that I've never paid attention to, and have probably missed a million times. Then his little sister walked into them accidentally, and he had a little blow up, yelled at her and told her to go away. He said that "he had just got them all lined up perfectly, and she moved one out of place".

Sometimes I feel like I'm over reacting, yet the more I sit and watch him, the more I kick myself that I haven't seen this sooner. When he was younger it ran through my head countless times, but denial is a comfortable place, and I didn't want to see it. So I chalked it all up to ADHD. It's things like tonight, him yelling at his sister, that I normally would have viewed as being aggressive, but looking at "what" he was blowing up over, sure puts a different perspective on it.
