i couldn't get it.....page not found, it said..Thanks but my girl is only 6 1/2 now.the address just has a space in the word "in dex"
change it to "index" and it works fine.

For any of you parents out there with kids who are looking ahead to college, there was a great article on cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com/2006/EDUCATION/07/17/college.bound.ap/in dex.html) about two programs that specialize in extra help that LD/ADD/ADHD kids and also kids with other physical disabilities could really benefit from--two organizations were highlighted:
one is through Virginia Tech called 'College Bound' which pairs these kids with other already enrolled kids who have disabilities to give them a sense of what challenges they will really face, and some ideas on how to cope.
The other is in Ft Lauderdale, called College Learning Experience, which assists these kids with tutoring, problem solving, better living situations, etc.
If nothing else, it's a step in the right direction for our kids.
