Guinea Pigging for ADHD studies | ADHD Information

Has anybody here volunteered for ADHD medical studies? Which one(s)? I haven't.  Didn't even know there was such.Theres one going on at Stonybrook (NY)... Just finished volunteering for that one- it involved brain scans and iv's of placebos and some stimulant. There was monetary compensation, and it contributes to scientific knowledge bla bla bla.   Not sure where you can go look up studies in your areas, if you are interested. There definitely is a website though...My daughter is my guinea pig for all my new findings.  Does that count?  We live in MIssouri and would love to be in reaserch, especially if there is money involved.

When I was a kid, I owned 6 guinea pigs.  I put them all in shoe boxes and tied them to our hills hoist (which is a rotating clothes line).  I thought I was giving them a ferris wheel ride.

Does this apply to guine pigging with ADD?

lol :) Did you like your hamsters? I've been through just about every pet, but no hamsters.

When I was a kid, I played teenage mutant ninja turtles with my pet turtle. I put an orange scarf around my head, and drew a nailpolish line on its shell- so we could both be ninja turtles, but the game got boring quickly cause turtles don't do ANYTHING.

lol - my guinea pigs (no hamsters - shame on you ), where subject to many games.

I dont think they enjoyed it as much as I did - we did have snail races too.  My sibs and I would get a snail each and draw a circle and the first snail out was the winner.

Bit like the turtle game tho unfortunately.
