Daycare provider/grandma | ADHD Information

Hi i am a daycare provider and have been for almost 28 years plus the child I am goingto be asking questions is my sweet granddaughter. She is 2 and has ADD /ADH in her dad side very strongly.her Dad has ADD her uncles have ADD and one of her cousins had ADHD. Well we have thought for awhile now so does she it seems to be getting worse and I was sort of in denial to a point.I thought maybe her behviors were coming from not gettting enough sleep! WELL grandma had her for 3 days and nights and was in bed at a very decent hour she slept great and all and was the same.Like I said I amd a provider so have 5 other children here daily and she is aggressive and will not share (MY toys but still may feel like hers) if she does bring a toy from home lord that is not good !! She is 2 and yes alot of these behaviors are  2 year old traits but I feel not to this point. I was hoping for some help here as noone wants to say meds yet at all and I doubt a Dr would even say ADHD yet. We really want to help her if we can beofre school! Do you have any behvioral modification  tricks? How about Diet? I heard dairy was a big one she was on Soy milk as an infant.

As a child care provider I am sure you are aware that toddlers are active, aggressive and impulsive by nature.  They are self directed and have a short attention span at times.  All of these behaviors are a part of her development which is why it is extremely difficult to diagnose a child of this age with ADD/ADHD.  Given her family history however, I would keep a close eye and see how she does once she is in school.   In the meantime, I would love to provide you with some tips if you can share with me what types of behaviors are concerning you?
