ATL’sraised - HELP!

hello everyone ,
sorry i haven't posted or replied for a while but my newly daignosed diabetic cat became ill over the weekend and i have been backwards and forwards to the vets.
got results of blood tests todayand seemingly bad news.
after only 11 days on ritalin my atl's went up to 114'
i've had the best two weeks of my life on ritalin and i can't bear it if i have to stop. my doctor has reduced me to 10mg per day until he hears from the liver dept.
does anyone have any experience of this happening to them or any info - gratefully received!
jhazhi rae,
sorry, i should have explained that atl's are enzymes in the liver which indicate damage is being done. if they go to three times the person's norms, ritalin has to be stopped. i started a lower dose today and have to go for another blood test next friday. i am keeping everything crossed that they reduce as i would be devastated to go back to existing as opposed to living which is what i feel i have been doing since i have been on ritalin.
loved your ideas of baskets round the house for clutter!
when i was 38 years old and my mother came to vist me in my home she told me that i was too lazy to live because i was still as messy and untisy as i had always been.
jhazsorry jhaz - I dont even know what atls are - but I hope you dont have to go off the ritilan - perhaps a smaller dose might work out okay
