Adderall + Lexapro | ADHD Information

Does anyone take Adderall combined with Lexapro? I take Adderall 25XR and have bouts of anxiety. (More intense) However, without adderall, I still have anxiety, just not as intense. Anyone have any input on Adderall combined with an SSRI ? Preferebly lexapro?Bman

Until recently I was on both Lexapro and Adderall. together they worked fine except that with the Lexapro added I was becoming more and more lethargic. Since then I have had the Lexapro switched to Cymbalta.

Do you get a good focus and attention benefit from your Adderall? I'm wondering if your anxiety is increasing while on Adderall due to better focus and attention. That's why sometimes ADD medicines can have depression as a side effect for example. If you're down the dumps or, in your case, have anxiety, then having better focus and attention on those issues can sometimes make it worse.
