You should post this on the Magnesium thread.Try looking at the thread entitled "Magnesium" on the Alternatives to Meds section of this board.We just had an appointment with our ped., at which time I showed her all of our meds and supplements. She was all for everything we were doing except the magnesium. She said that without testing for vitamin deficiency we run the risk of giving more than he needs, and since magnesium acts as an electrolyte for the heart, we could disrupt his heart rhythm. We did a full panel, and he has no vitamin deficiencies, so we discontinued the magnesium.
