fall asleep better with meds? | ADHD Information

My son has been on Focalin xr 10 mg in the morning and 5mg focalin for the afternoon since November.  The last week I have not been giving him the afternoon dose, and it seems like he will never go to bed.  Yesterday we gave him the afternoon dose, and went to bed at 8:30.  Also I do remember before meds, he never would go to bed.  But since he has been on the afternoon dose it seems that he is ready to go to bed.  Just wondering if anyone else has had this effect.  I have also heard of having sleep problems with meds, but it seems to help us.

That has been my experience for myself too.  I hated to go to sleep, now I'm fall right asleep.
