Will dexedrine work? | ADHD Information

How do you people get so lucky to be put on that amount of amphetamines????


haha. jerbear and euphoria. I'm still trying to get my psyc to lower my
dosage but he wont! It makes me mad! He only raises the dosage!no sh*t!!! my doc won't go higher than 40mg and won't change my meds!! i'm jealous!!haha I'd rather be overly medicated than under. i was on 120 mg of adderall and it was worthless and now I am on 90 of dexedrine and it is a charmmy son who is 8 used to take adderall and we notice about every 3 months we would have to increase the dosage. he was put on dexedrine and we never had to increase the dosage.  It worked really well for him since he was not able to tolerate any of the other adhd meds.   Every body chemistry is different, so if it's not working for you, ask for something else.

The best of the best for me is a combination of Ritalin LA, Wellbutrin, and Provigil.

It's also too expensive, so I'm usually only on RitLA.
I currently take Adderall Xr 60mg and 20mg IR and it stopped working.  I am going to my doc on friday and am going to ask her to put me on dexedrine.  I know Adderall has dextroamphetamine in it so if the adderall isnt working should I even bother with dexedrine?  I have also tried Strattera and Concerta with no luck.  The Adderall worked great but I found every month or so I had to have my doc up the dose

So my question is:  If Adderall doesnt work does that mean dexedrine wont work since they are both amphetamines?
