Is it an obvious sign? | ADHD Information
un-fortunetly so they sometimes miss the social cues and do have low frustration levels. Has your child been screened or tested? I would start there for the age is only 4 may be an age thing instead. A OT TOLD US POOR SOCIAL IS A AUTISM SIGN. I HEAR CAN BE SIGNS OF BOTH OF THESE. i READ IT'S THE REACTIONS OF OTHERS THAT ARE HARD FOR THEM. SOCIAL STORIES THE OT TOLD US TO READ TO OUR SON CAN HELP. How is he/she compared to other kids? If he is in preschool, has his/her teacher noticed any differences? If you think he/she is different, it's time to talk to your ped about it. Good luck!Mikey had & still has at times low frustration levels, its easier to handle them now, he has just recently been diagnised as autistic on the asberguers level, aswell as him having adhd.
Are poor social skills an obvious sign of ADD? Our child plays nicely (4yo) at times but can get angry easily, overwhelmed and touches other kids!
Is this it? oh, ofcourse attention span , distraction pretty bad.
It's worse in kids with autistic spectrum disorder. Does she know how to interact with other kids and play give-and-take? Did she have speech delays or sensory issues or is she just a toucher. When you say "touch" do you mean inappropriate touching? At age 4, my ADHD son got angry easily, overwhelmed, and touched other kids too much. The first two are gone now and the third has improved. He's 7.
