I would go to the Director and voice your concerns about the lack of communication between you & the staff. They should be willing to communicate with you openly about your son's day. Feedback is crucial for you & his treatment plan.
Good luck.
Mere38937.4513888889Can anyone help me make a list so I can monitor my 4 year old at daycare and make a checklist for them? This is his second month on methylphenidate and want him monitored by the daycare center since they are not very good at communicating with me or my husband.
I would give them a sample list somewhat like this:
1. Was he respectful to his teacher today?
2. Did he interact nicely with other children?
3. Did he follow instructions that were given?
4. Were there any physical or emotional outbursts?
Then make a yes or no box to the right of the questions and leave space at the bottom for comments. I think that a parent who is involved really helps the teacher in the end.
Does that help?
